I like where we live, because technically we are in the city limits, and we have a nice neighborhood area but we are far enough out of the city proper, and up in a wooded area, so even though it's a pretty big neighborhood, we have lots of trees and natural areas, with miles of trails for walking or bike riding. We also have nice neighbors that sometimes stop and chat on the trails, like this:

Yesterday was my day off. Technically, yesterday was a vacation day, since this week we switched schedules and my only day off was Sunday. I did not like that so I took an extra day, since I'm switching to 10 hour shifts - which is a big, hairy "ugh" but it gives me 3 day weekends with Secret Agent Man. I have worked here over ten (10) years and this will be my first time with weekends off. Ever.

Based on an almost overwhelming vote for Mouse, I chose him to represent me for the "100 Illustrations" book. I was also leaning that direction as I thought he had a more universal appeal.
